We began our journey in 1994 as a lorry booking agency based at Brahmavar of Udupi district, Karnataka. Our first business expansion took place in the year 1996, two years after we had entered the business. In 1996, we opened our second booking agency located 15 KMs away from Brahmavar in the famous suburb of Manipal (which has grown to serve as a transhipment point today).

In the year 2001, we upgraded our operations to Full Truckload Transportation under the brand Vega Transports. In the year 2004, we had reached our first milestone when we purchased our own container truck. Since then, our business has expanded to provide services all over Karnataka along with our own fleet of container trucks. Once we had our foot firmly set in the business, in the year 2010 we further expanded our door-to-door parcel delivery services and formed the brand Tarasvin Cargo. From its humble beginning in 1994 as a booking agency, today our service portfolio under Tarasvin Cargo (as a unit of Vega Transport) ranges from Single Consignment to Bulk load including Integrated and Customized Logistics Solutions, Warehousing, Trailer Loads, Household Articles Shifting, Full truckload/part load, Door-to-Door logistics support and distribution services with our promised assurance of safe handling, safety and fast adaptation to smarter tech come first in the list of priorities for us. Today our entire fleet is fitted with GPS trackers. This ensures maximum productivity and the best customer service in the industry.
